Join the Diné Studies Board of Directors

We believe this job is very rewarding by providing a powerful forum to recognize the scholarship and community work happening in our Navajo communities. This upcoming conference, we are seeking candidates to continue this effort to support our conferences and work. Become a candidate and run for one of the three (3) Board of Director positions during this upcoming June 2023 conference.

The positions are volunteer based and serve a term that last three conferences/symposiums. Responsibilities of the board of directors are to attend quarterly meetings and volunteer for the various duties to host our conference. Board meetings are held in person, conference calls, and through zoom meeting. These positions are volunteer based but we have proposed this upcoming conference to have our members vote on compensation for your time.

·  Be excited to support Diné scholars, professors, teachers, community members and students. 

·  Be a member of the Diné Studies conference, which simply means coming to our conference and attending an event!
